FIFA 2001

Fifa 2001 also known as FIFA Confederations Cup.FIFA 2001 was the fifth FIFA Confederations Cup and the third to be organised by FIFA. The tournament was played in May and June 2001 and co-hosted by South Korea and Japan, who were also hosts for the 2002 FIFA World Cup finals. It was won by France, beating hosts Japan 1–0, with a goal from Patrick Vieira.
By winning the tournament, France became the second team to simultaneously be World Cup champions, continental champions and Confederations Cup winners, after Brazil in 1997.
The eight teams were split into two groups of four, in which each team plays each of the others once, with the top two in each group advancing to the semi-finals.This title had a new graphics engine which allows each team to have its own detailed kit, and for some players, their own unique faces. Doing away with ordinary coloured pennants as club emblems, the license includes official club emblems for the first time, although certain leagues, like the Dutch league, are unlicensed. Slightly tweakable physics made the game a modding favorite for its fan community. The game also includes the entire Austrian Bundesliga as a playable league for the first time, albeit removing the Portuguese Liga and the Turkish Premier League. A "hack" feature is included, where the player can press R1 to attempt an intentional foul, such a high sliding tackle. This title was the first game of the series with a power bar for shooting.
A Nintendo 64 beta version of FIFA 2001 developed by THQ exists, though the game was not officially released for this platform.

FIFA 2000

FIFA 2000 also known as FIFA Soccer 2000.FIFA 2000 is a series of association football video games.FIFA 2000 released annually by Electronic Arts under the EA Sports label.A Nintendo 64 beta version of FIFA 2000 exists though the game was not officially released for this platform.This version of the FIFA series contained over 40 "classic" teams, so that gamers could play as retired football legends.
The game features over 40 national sides, fully integrated seasons, set piece selections, increased physical contact, new facial animations, shielding ability and tougher tackling.
The opening video for FIFA 2000 features Sol Campbell and playing against a retro side from 1904 - the year of the inauguration of FIFA. The game also included Port Vale, the club supported by Williams, in the "Rest of the World" section.

FIFA 99

FIFA 99 also known as FIFA Soccer 99 is a series of association football video games.It released annually by Electronic Arts under the EA Sports label.While there was no major competition when EA released the first titles in their Madden NFL and NHL series, football video games such as Sensible Soccer, Kick Off and Match Day had been developed since the late 1980 and were already competitive in the games market when EA Sports announced a football game as the next addition to their EA Sports label.When the series began in late 1993 it was notable for being the first to have an official licence from FIFA, the world governing body of football. The latest installments in the series contain many exclusively-licenced leagues including league and teams from around the world, including the English Premier League and Football League, Italian Serie A, Spanish La Liga, German Bundesliga, French Ligue 1, Dutch Eredivisie, Mexican Primera División, American Major League Soccer, South Korean K-League and Australian Hyundai A-League, allowing the use of real leagues, clubs, and player names and likenesses within the games.The main series has been complemented by additional installments based on single major tournaments, such as the FIFA World Cup, UEFA European Football Championship, and UEFA Champions League, as well as a series of football management titles.As of 2011, the FIFA franchise has been localized into 18 languages and available in 51 countries. The series has sold more than 100 million copies worldwide, making it one of the best-selling video game franchises.Also FIFA 11 holds the record for the "fastest selling sports game ever" with over 2.6 million games sold and over $150 million generated at retail in less than a week of the game being released.

FIFA Road to World Cup 98

FIFA Road to World Cup 98  is a football video game developed by EA Canada and published by Electronic Arts. It was the fifth game in the FIFA series and the second to be in 3D on the 32-bit machines.A number of different players were featured on the cover, including David Beckham in the UK, Roy Lassiter in the USA and Mexico, David Ginola on the French cover, Raúl on the Spanish cover and Andreas Möller on the German cover. FIFA 98 was the last FIFA game released for the Mega Drive in Europe.
The game includes an official soundtrack  and had a refined graphics engine, team and player customisation options, 16 stadiums, improved artificial intelligence and the popular "Road to World Cup" mode, with all 173 FIFA-registered national teams.
FIFA 98 even features many accurate team rosters, including national reserves for national call-up when playing in the round-robin qualification modes. In addition, eleven leagues were featured, containing 189 clubs. The game also featured a popular five-a-side indoor mode and was the first FIFA game to contain an in-game player/team editor.For the first time in a FIFA game, the offside rule is properly implemented. In previous games, when a player was in an offside position doing anything except running, that player was penalised for offside even when the ball was passed backwards. The 32-bit version of FIFA 98 corrects this so that the game would only award a free kick for offside if the ball was passed roughly to where the player in the offside position was.

FIFA 97

FIFA 97 also known as FIFA Soccer 97. This video game developed by EA Canada and published by Electronic Arts based around the game of football (soccer). It was released in June 24, 1996 and versions for PlayStation, SNES, Mega Drive and Sega Saturnfollowed.FIFA 97 was the fourth game in the FIFA Series and the second to use the Virtual Stadium engine. Unlike the first game to use the engine, FIFA 97 features polygonal players as opposed to the 2D sprites used in FIFA Soccer '96. The engine however received complaints for being sluggish in the PC and PlayStation versions.

David Ginola graced the cover of the game in the European market. He also was used for motion capture for the polygonal models in the game. Bebetu (the Brazilian striker) was featured on the cover for the Americas and Asia-Pacific markets.The main new feature of the game other than the motion capture was the indoor football mode. There were six ways to play the game, including outdoor and indoor, as well as action and simulaton modes.The game's commentary included the names of the majority of players on the game, and the names of the teams were also said by John Motson.FIFA 97 features 10 songs which were made by EA Sports.

FIFA Soccer 96

FIFA Soccer 96 also known as FIFA 96.It is a video game developed by Extended Play Productions and released by EA Sports in 1995.
FIFA 96 is the third entry in the FIFA Series and its tagline was Next Generation Soccer. Also, the game was the first in the series to feature real-time 3D graphics on the Sega Saturn, PlayStation, 32X, and DOS versions, using technology called "Virtual Stadium". The SNES and Genesis editions used the FIFA 95 engine. It is also the first in the series to present players with real player names and positions, with ranking, transfer and team customisation tools. Many experts regard this game as the first really successful FIFA game. FIFA 96 features 15 songs which were composed and arranged by Graeme Coleman.
